What: Come fill a jar with seasonal flowers at Blue Door Flower Co. while enjoying our beautiful property on the back of Saskadena Six. This ticket option does NOT include a glass jar or flowers; you are just taking a stroll through our property! This option is great if you are coming with multiple people, but only a few of you need/want flowers!
We will provide everything you need to cut and store your blooms. Limited parking spaces are available, so we encourage carpooling! You are also welcome to park at the bottom of our driveway and take a stroll up. There are no bathrooms available whatsoever, and entry into our home is not permitted for any reason. Tickets are nonrefundable. If a U-Pick gets rained out or needs to be canceled, we will offer an alternate date for ticket holders. This offering is for others to enjoy, and we do not permit any kind of photography/videography photo shoots (you are welcome to take a few pictures with your phone, but that's it). If you'd like to schedule a photo shoot, please reach out to Emma separately, and she will reach out to you as soon as possible to discuss the details.
When: We will be offering multiple dates throughout the 2024 growing season. Once you purchase a ticket, we will email you initially and then about two weeks out from your chosen U-Pick date. Tickets are only eligible for one date, but you are more than welcome to purchase more than one date!
Where: Blue Door Flower Co. is not open to the public, and as such, we do not post our address publically. Once you purchase a ticket, we will email you about one week before your date with the address. We kindly ask that you not share our address with anyone outside of your party.
Investment: Single U-Pick (with flowers) tickets are $20 each.
U-Pick (just looking)
- Blue Door's U-Picks are open to all ages. Children under 8 years old are free with the purchase of a U-Pick (with flowers) ticket! Any children 8 and up must have a U-Pick (with flowers or just looking) ticket, or they will not be admitted entry.
- No animals are allowed. Service animals are allowed, but are not allowed in any of the flower beds, high tunnel, or rows.
- All children must be supervised at all times on our property, and we do not allow children under 8 to use snips or scissors due to safety concerns, as well as potential damage to flowers and farm infrastructure. We are a small working flower farm with many hazards, so please consider this before bringing your children. Blue Door, its employees, and all entities are not liable in any way for injuries sustained on the farm.
- We are fully insured with liability insurance, but please respect that this is not only a business, but our home. We want to be able to offer this service for years to come, and that 100% depends on the respect of our customers towards us, our flowers, and our property. We sincerely appreciate your understanding.
- Any damages incurred by your party are your responsibility financially. This includes, but is not limited to: theft, cutting flowers incorrectly after instruction, pulling plants out by their roots, infrastructure damages, and so on.
- There are no bathrooms, and there is absolutely no admission into our home for any reason. We appreciate you using the restroom before arriving. The nearest public restroom is in the Village of Woodstock, about 3 miles away.
- All tickets are nonrefundable, and each person attending a U-Pick over the age of 8 must purchase a ticket (for example, if you are planning on bringing yourself, a friend, and three children over the age of 8, you will need to purchase 5 tickets).
- We suggest driving a vehicle that can handle a hardpack road and steep driveway.
